What you will be doing

  • Ensure timely completion of all compliance-related activities in accordance with statutory and regulatory timelines.
  • Manage statutory and global audits, including preparation and review of financial statements as per IFRS and IND AS.
  • Coordinate with Big-4 auditors (global teams) to ensure timely completion and closure of audits, including resolution of audit queries.
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
  • Review, monitor, and strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial and compliance risks.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders on audit and compliance matters.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts related to tax payments and share projections with the treasury team.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards, statutory regulations, and corporate policies, and assess their impact on financial reporting.
  • Support management with financial analysis, audit findings, and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and ensure governance standards are met.
  • Maintain documentation and records to support audits, compliance reviews, and internal controls.
  • Should have prior experience of handling global teams and clients.

    • What you will need for this role

  • 3–5 years of experience in a related field or position, preferably with a Big 4 firm
  • Being a Chartered Accountant
  • Excellent communication skills in English both in verbal and written
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft tools (advanced excel)
