Finance Executive (Contract)

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to join our Controllership team on a contract basis.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will support the finance function across the Group’s operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and the United States.

You will work closely with a lean finance team and provide hands-on support in maintaining accurate financial records, resolving finance-related issues, and strengthening financial controls across the region.

Given the global nature of the business, occasional work outside normal office hours may be required to liaise with stakeholders and support activities across different time zones.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct reconciliations for different sales channels and platforms, ensuring completeness and accuracy between system records, customer statements and bank receipts.
• Perform daily bank clearing and reconciliation of receipts to ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Reconcile inventories between system records and warehouse records.
• Monitor aging records and perform necessary follow-up actions.
• Support month-end close tasks, including the preparation of balance sheet schedules.
• Handle any other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience with hands-on finance operations work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to handle system-based data extraction.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with NetSuite and online marketplaces such as Amazon, Shopify or similar platforms.
