About this role

What you will do:

Performance

· Day-to-day bookkeeping, general ledger management, and monthly close across both entities

· AP and AR - timely vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections

· Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts and investor pack (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow statement, variance commentary)

· Cashflow monitoring and forecasting - maintain bi-monthly visibility for group

· Manage banking relationships; oversee payment run approvals and controls

· End-to-end payroll for SG and MY — statutory deductions, payment runs, resolution of tax authority queries

· Statutory filings: income tax, SST (Malaysia), GST (Singapore), EPF, SOCSO, PCB

· Cross-border withholding tax advisory

People

· Annual audit coordination - prepare supporting schedules, liaise with external auditors

· Tax computation and annual compliance; work closely with external tax advisors, legal counsel, and company secretary.

· Partner with department heads on budgeting, cost control, and financial decisions that affect their teams

· Primary finance interface for the CEO

Product

· First-line commercial contract review

Process

· Maintain and improve financial systems to reduce manual processes

· Optimise working capital and flag liquidity risk early to the CEO

· Trend analysis and financial forecasting

· Build and maintain financial models

· Quarterly budgeting by function; track actuals vs. budget and provide variance commentary

Requirements

About you:

· Degree in Finance or Accounting; ACCA or equivalent preferred, not mandatory

· 5+ years hands-on across accounting, FP&A, tax, audit, and payroll - across both MY and SG

· Working knowledge of MFRS and SFRS, comfortable operating under both in parallel

· MY and SG taxes: income tax, SST, GST, EPF, CPF, SOCSO, PCB, cross-border WHT

· Can build a financial model from scratch and explain it to someone who isn't a finance person

· Comfortable with first-line contract review; knows what to escalate to legal

· Proficient in Xero or equivalent
