Finance Trainee

Greenvolt Power Greece is looking for a ** Finance Trainee.**

Key accountabilities

• Assist with daily financial and accounting tasks
• Support invoice processing, expense tracking, and reconciliations
• Help prepare financial reports, dashboards, and forecasts
• Conduct basic financial analysis and data entry
• Maintain and update financial records and spreadsheets
• Assist with budgeting and cost monitoring
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities
• Research financial data and prepare internal summaries
• Basic SAP navigation (FI module)
• Ability to view and extract journal entries (JE)
• Assist in updating the books through SAP during monthly closing
• Support in posting or preparing adjustment JEs (under supervision)
• Running standard reports (e.g., vendor balances, GL line items)
• Maintaining financial data accuracy within SAP
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Banking & Financial Management, or a related field
• Strong interest in finance, accounting, and financial reporting processes.
• Basic knowledge of Excel; intermediate to advanced proficiency is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI) and financial reporting tools is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with numerical data and maintain organized financial records.
