We are looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to join the dynamic finance team of our client, a leading property developer in Cyprus and Greece. This is a key role that provides strategic financial insights, ensuring data-driven decision-making at the highest level. The successful candidate will be a Chartered or Certified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong analytical, reporting and interpersonal skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Track and determine financial status by analysing actual results in comparison with forecasts/budgets
- Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status
- Perform financial modelling and forecasting to support strategic decision-making
- Identify trends, advise company, and recommend actions based on sound analysis
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, bankers, the wider finance team and other teams of the company, to streamline reporting and financial processes.
- Design and implement monitoring solutions
- Be the key point of contact of banks, including provision of quarterly reporting to them
- Collaborate with the wider team to aid the implementation of Business Intelligence software
- Work on special projects and ad-hoc assignments
Requirements
- Chartered or Certified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial analysis, business advisory, or within a Big Four accounting firm.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and financial software is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of IFRS, financial regulations, and corporate finance principles.
- Excellent presentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and drive process improvements.
