Key Responsibilities
- Assemble stainless steel products and subassemblies by following work instructions, blueprints, parts lists, and quality specifications using hand and power tools.
- Inspect and verify completed assemblies by measuring components, ensuring proper fit and notifying supervisors of any quality or production issues.
- Prepare, package, and secure finished products for shipment according to customer and export requirements, including completing all shipping and production documentation.
- Operate assembly, packaging, and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining production standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following established operating procedures, identifying safety hazards, and complying with company policies.
- Perform additional duties and support production operations as assigned by the Team Leader or Supervisor.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Experience safely using hand and power tools in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification and safely operate forklifts and overhead hoists.
- Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to three years of manufacturing or metal assembly experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
