Aggregates Producer

Supervises operational activities including pit production, quality control, plant maintenance, and mobile equipment maintenance, in the Chattanooga, TN quarry with plant capacity in excess of one million tons. Responsible for training, scheduling, discipline, and performance evaluations for hourly employees. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies including MSHA, DOT, and EPA. Successfully implements the company's Safety and Environmental programs. Acts as a responsible team member when dealing with internal clients. Performs other functions as assigned by management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineerng or related field a plus
Min. 2 years supervisory experience in aggregates,mining or related industry
Ability to work flexible schedule as required; including nights ad weekends if required
Microsoft Office skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with TN DOT a plus
