Front End Developer - E-Trading (ReactJS, & Node.js)

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated Front-End Developer to join our E-Trading application development team. This is a hands-on role focused on building and enhancing Web UI modules for our in-house FX Ecommerce platform.

You will work closely with back-end developers and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance, user-friendly interfaces that support the Technology function in the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Collaborate closely with back-end developers to implement seamless client-server API interactions on the Web UI.
• Participate in peer code and design reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Work alongside Business Analysts and Project Managers to translate requirements into functional features.
• Handle code deployments, releases, and other operational tasks on a rotational basis, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement of the build and deployment processes.
• Optionally, present system demos to business users to showcase features and gather feedback.

Key Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly ReactJS.
• Familiarity with agent-based coding assistant tools is a plus.
• Experience or familiarity with RESTful API development using Java or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Comfortable using tools such as Bitbucket (Git), Jira, and Confluence.
• Understanding of UI component libraries and design systems like Material UI and Ant Design.
• Knowledge of Node.js, npm, Webpack, Vite and other front-end build tools.
• Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Financial domain experience is optional, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.
