⭐Role Overview

The Senior Full-stack Engineer for Activation serves as the primary technical engine behind customer acquisition and lifecycle conversion. This role is a strategic force multiplier that bridges the gap between engineering and marketing by building high-impact experimentation frameworks and scalable activation funnels. This role takes full ownership of the technical "activation loop," ensuring that every touchpoint, from the first landing page to the core product experience, is optimised for performance, data integrity, and a seamless user journey.

You’ll ship the activation experiences that are at the heart of the project: online scraper tools, interactive mini-tools across the website that let visitors experience the product before starting a trial, and intent-based & dynamic navigation flows that turn engaged visitors into qualified pipeline.

⭐ How will you make an impact?

  • Experimentation Architecture: Leads the design and execution of A/B tests and feature pilots to rapidly validate hypotheses and drive core business metrics.
  • Fullstack System Development: Independently builds and maintains scalable backend services (Python, PHP, or .NET) and high-performance frontend interfaces (React) with a 50-50 technical split.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Acts as the primary technical advocate for the user journey, removing friction in the signup and activation flows to maximize "time-to-value."
  • Webflow CMS Integration: Oversees the technical synergy between the Lodgify platform and marketing platforms, Webflow, empowering marketing teams while maintaining engineering standards.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Manages the technical connection between growth specific tools, CRM systems, and data pipelines to ensure 100% accuracy in user behaviour tracking and attribution.
  • Technical Design & Scalability: Designs modular, maintainable codebases that support high-traffic marketing campaigns without compromising system stability or performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Acts as the technical representative in Activation squad rituals, translating marketing objectives into robust technical requirements and delivery plans.
  • Code Excellence & Mentorship: Sets the standard for code quality within the Activation team, conducting deep-dive code reviews and establishing documentation frameworks for growth experiments and their execution.
  • Performance Engineering: Evaluates and optimizes web performance (Core Web Vitals) to ensure marketing-led initiatives do not negatively impact SEO or user retention.

  • AI-Assisted Engineering: Acts as a champion for modern engineering practices, leveraging tools like Claude Code and Lovable to accelerate experimentation, development and refactoring
