As General Manager, you will be fully accountable for Bolt's performance and long-term success in Paraguay. You will own the country strategy, P&L delivery, operational excellence, regulatory positioning, and people leadership. Acting as the face and voice of Bolt in the market, you will work closely with regional and HQ teams to drive continued growth, efficiency, and market leadership.

  • <point>Own the country strategy and annual business planning end to end — spotting market trends, risks, and opportunities, and protecting and extending Bolt's leadership in a mature market.</point><point>Own the P&L line by line — delivering against OKRs, allocating capital to the highest-ROI opportunities, and driving cost discipline and a lean, efficient organisation.</point>
  • <point>Lead the driver (supply) side across earnings, experience, loyalty, and growth — optimising driver economics, maintaining high support standards, and growing the driver base.</point>
  • <point>Drive the rider (demand) side — strengthening competitive positioning, setting and executing rider quality standards, and unlocking expansion and offer-optimisation opportunities with clear KPIs.</point>
  • <point>Build and develop a high-performing local team — hiring to the highest bar, coaching with sharp feedback, building succession, and fostering a culture of performance, learning, and integrity.</point>
  • <point>Act as the face of Bolt in Paraguay — owning Government Relations, maintaining strong relationships with regulators and stakeholders, and leading PR, employer branding, and social-responsibility efforts.</point>
  • <point>Collaborate across the central and regional matrix — partnering with HQ teams (Product, Legal, FP&A, Marketing, People) to execute key initiatives, supporting Corporate Development on deals, and operationalising partnerships</point>

<title>About you:</title>

  • <point>10+ years of professional experience, with a strong track record of leadership in commercial, operational, or general management roles.</point>
  • <point>Proven P&L ownership in a complex, fast-moving environment — ideally tech, mobility, marketplaces, consulting, retail, or financial services.</point>
  • <point>Experience working with multi-functional teams in a matrixed organisation with regional and HQ stakeholders.</point>
  • <point>Strong commercial acumen and analytical rigour; comfortable making data-driven decisions and challenging assumptions.</point>
  • <point>Hands-on operator — equally comfortable setting strategy and getting into the detail when execution requires it.</point>
  • <point>Excellent communicator and influencer, able to represent Bolt with regulators, media, partners, and senior stakeholders.</point>
