About this role
GTM Associate
New York, NY (In-Office) · Full-Time
Firefly is building the defining physical AI company of the next decade, starting with safety.
We believe safety is the most important problem facing America today. Every school, hospital, hotel, workplace, and public venue relies on a patchwork of disconnected systems to understand and protect the people inside them. Most were built decades ago, rarely work together, and leave organizations operating without a real-time understanding of what's happening across their spaces.
Firefly is replacing that stack with a single AI-native platform that helps organizations understand their environment, coordinate action, and respond when every second counts. We combine intelligent software with beautifully designed hardware to bring consumer-grade experiences to one of the world's largest and most important industries.
In less than two years, Firefly has grown from an idea to protecting everything from boutique hotels to 30,000-student school systems, raising more than $27 million from leading investors along the way. Our team includes leaders from Apple and Verkada who care deeply about craft, speed, and building technology that matters in the real world.
Safety is where the need is most urgent, but the opportunity is much larger. Every physical space generates signals. Every organization needs to understand what is happening, determine what matters, and coordinate the right response. We believe the next generation of AI will move beyond screens and into the real world, becoming the system of intelligence that helps organizations operate and protect the spaces they are responsible for.
About the Role
Firefly is hiring a GTM Associate to work across the full surface of our go-to-market motion as we come out of stealth and attack the market with real customer proof behind us.
We’re building a melting pot of high-slope people who thrive in taking an open-ended problem and turning it into something real. True original thinking is the prevailing trait needed for success in this role. You will have extremely high-ownership and be expected to add value from day one. You will find yourself executing an end-end outbound idea for a brand new segment, iterating on ad copy for a new product launch, ranking our top 250 accounts by TAM or leading a country expansion project. Everything you do is geared toward finding the non-obvious ways to generate high-quality pipeline and revenue.
You're a fit if you have:
3+ years minimum experience, with a track record of intelligence, range, and output. Background is open by design and could vary from a D2C growth marketer, public policy analyst, journalist, IB, PE, VC, or a chief of staff seat
A genuine talent for writing - clear, sharp, and built to land with a real audience
Comfort with numbers - you can size a market, rank accounts by value, and build the analysis that points the team at the right target
A bias for creative experimentation and the judgment to know where to focus without being told
Built things from a blank page and owned them end to end
Real fluency with LLMs - you understand what they're good at, where they break, and how to use them to do more, faster
Who we're looking for
The same things matter to us in every person we hire, regardless of role. We look for people who hold a prevailing standard of exceptional quality and know that reaching it takes relentless iteration and a real appetite for digging in deep and sweating the details. The same rigor is what our customers demand: they carry responsibility for people's lives, and meeting that bar takes care, follow-through, and no shortcuts.
Ultimately, we want people who are here to win as a team. What we're building is hard and it matters, and it takes tenacity, low ego, and the kind of person who brings thoughtfulness, optimism, and energy to everyone around them. We want people who care more about the outcome than their corner of it, and take the work seriously without taking themselves too seriously.
This is an in-office role based in our New York City office.
