About this role
The Team Coordinator collaborates directly with department supervisors and managers to produce defect free
products that satisfy company quality standards and customer requirements. This position works as the HLA in
the department providing knowledge and skills to associates.
What you’ll do:
- Create and manage updates concerning clear, concise, and accurate work instructions.
- Effectively schedule and prioritize daily work that aligns with customer delivery plan.
- Attend daily morning scheduling meeting and New Product Initiate meetings.
- Establish area daily goals and work with team members to achieve those goals
- Update Excel-based schedules/productivity/quality charts in a timely fashion
- Effectively train, coach, mentor, and motivate associates to create a positive team working environment
- Maintain a clean and highly organized area
- Ensure benches, tools and equipment are maintained and in good working condition
- Interface with Engineering on specification and tool issues
- Drive continuous improvement by looking for opportunities for improvement and working projects
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need:
- Displays a high-level critical thinking and analysis
- Demonstrated highly motivated strong leadership and teambuilding skills with self-motivation, problem
solving abilities, team spirit and a “hands on” mentality,
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Communicate in person, over the phone, email, internet or in writing in a positive, professional manner.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Knowledge of common Manufacturing processes and/or equipment operation.
- Able to document and summarize data on a control chart and graph/results.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Electronic or Mechanical engineering
- Experience training and mentoring
