Responsibilities
- Assist experienced handymen with repairs, installations, and general maintenance tasks
- Learn the safe operation and maintenance of hand and power tools
- Set up and clean up job sites to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Transport tools and materials between vehicles and job sites
- Support painting, drywall, carpentry, and fixture installation projects
- Follow project plans, company procedures, and safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company
Requirements
Must Have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Clean and reliable vehicle for traveling to scheduled work sites
- Willingness to complete a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong verbal communication skills when interacting with homeowners and teammates
- Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to punctuality
- Previous hands-on experience with home repairs, maintenance, or personal DIY projects
- Basic familiarity with common household tools
Nice to Have
- Previous experience assisting on construction, maintenance, or handyman projects
- Knowledge of basic carpentry, painting, drywall, or fixture installation
