The Role…

At Soho House, a Health Club Host is the face of the fitness and Spa area, providing a warm welcome, excellent service, and continuous support to ensure members and guests enjoy a clean, safe, and motivating workout environment

Your main responsibility is a blend of hospitality and operational support — helping members feel at ease, offering guidance on equipment, and ensuring the gym floor is immaculately maintained.

What we are looking for...

A successful Health Club Host for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.

Main duties…

  • Greeting Soho House Members and Hotel Guests at HC or Club Reception Desk;
  • Controlling flows – ensuring safe practices of Members and Guests;
  • Responsible for procedures related to opening and closing of the departments;
  • Accounting of bill payments, via Book4Time;
  • Scheduling personal training and treatments sessions in Book4Time and subsequently communicating to trainer that sessions are scheduled;
  • Ensure cleanliness of departments, changing rooms, and group training studios on daily basis;
  • Ensure clean towels are stocked – inside changing room and 3x3 outside each changing room;
  • Transportation of dirty towels and trash from the changing room(s);
  • Restocking of amenities changing room(s);
  • Reporting of any defects in changing room(s) and/or in the Gym;
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop daily;
  • Sanitization of equipment;
  • Understanding and knowledge of property amenities and services;
  • Assisting guests as needed;
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Requirements…

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity
  • Flexible schedule
  • Capability to stand for many hours
  • Detail & Service Oriented
  • Experience in reception or office management
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • English language is a must.
