What is the Multilingual Learner Coordinator Role?
As a multilingual coordinator at Brooke Charter Schools, (formerly referred to as an English Language Learner Coordinator) you will coordinate ESL services and provide direct instruction to small groups of students. You will develop English language proficiency goals that are clear and measurable and track student success in meeting these goals as well as assist coordinating and administering state mandated and ML identification assessments. The role also includes coordinating redesignation assessments, monitoring EML (Exiting Multilingual Learner) students, and keeping ML records in compliance with DESE regulations. As a critical member of the instructional team, you will work in collaboration with teachers and share best practices to ensure high quality sheltered content instruction is provided.
This is a part-time role. Salaries are competitive with local districts. The full-time salary range is $74,000-$130,000, commensurate with experience.
Licensed ML coordinators will also earn an additional $3,300 stipend for teaching a high-need subject area.
