CPI Security is looking to hire a Human Resources Data and Systems Specialist (HRIS Specialist) to serve our team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. What You’ll Do

As our HRIS Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting that culture by ensuring our HR technology enables our people and leaders to do their best work. Serving as the primary point of contact for UKG, you will drive data accuracy, system efficiency, and a seamless user experience across all Human Resources functions.
- Administer, configure, and continuously optimize UKG, including updates, testing, and enhancements
- Maintain and audit HRIS data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance, while upholding strong data governance practices
- Troubleshoot system and data issues, providing responsive, high-quality support to HR and business partners
- Develop and deliver reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights to support workforce and business decisions
- Partner closely with Payroll to ensure accurate data flow, compliance, and audit readiness
- Train and support users across the organization, creating SOPs and tools that drive adoption and consistency
- Lead or support HRIS-related projects, including implementations, upgrades, and integrations
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance system functionality, and improve the overall employee and manager experience
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of HRIS experience, with hands-on experience in UKG strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of HR operations, including Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Talent processes
- Experience managing HR systems, including configuration, data integrity, reporting, and troubleshooting
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience building reports and dashboards (UKG tools, Excel, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and accountability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented mindset
- Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or integrations preferred
