About this role
Gasoline Grill is looking for a structured and hands-on HR & Payroll Coordinator to support our daily operations across the business.
The role is primarily administrative and covers recruitment support, employee documentation, payroll preparation, HR systems, and internal communication. At the same time, you will act as a practical sparring partner for our Restaurant Managers, Crew Members, and Operations team on day-to-day HR matters.
About Gasoline Grill
Gasoline Grill was founded in 2016 and today has seven company-owned locations, three franchise restaurants, and around 150 employees from more than 30 nationalities.
You will become part of a small office team of 12 people who work closely together and take great pride in helping each other.
About the Role
You will support Restaurant Managers with screening candidates and occasionally conduct interviews. When a new employee is hired, you will ensure that documentation is in place, create the employee in Planday, and prepare and send the contract.
You will keep employee data updated, handle contract changes, salary adjustments, warnings, and termination documents, and prepare payroll by reviewing hours, absence, and other relevant information.
You will also answer questions about salary, holiday, hourly employment, the Danish Salaried Employees Act, and other employment matters. For international employees, you will help ensure correct work and residence documentation.
In addition, you will take ownership of our internal employee app, update relevant HR documents such as the employee handbook, and support our Manager Academy for current and potential leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment support, onboarding, contracts, and employee documentation
Planday updates, payroll preparation, and follow-up on missing data
Warnings, contract changes, salary adjustments, and termination documents
Practical HR sparring for Restaurant Managers, Crew Members, and Operations
Updating internal employee app and Manager Academy administration
We Are Looking for Someone Who
Has experience with HR administration, payroll, recruitment, or a similar role
Enjoys administrative work and takes pride in accuracy
Has knowledge of Danish employment law or wants to develop within this area
Communicates clearly in both Danish and English
Thrives in a fast-paced and operational environment
Experience from hospitality, retail, or another employee-intensive business is an advantage.
