About the Role

Inquiring Little Minds is looking for an experienced Human Resources to lead our HR Generalist team and help drive the people strategy behind our organization. In this role, you'll oversee core HR processes — onboarding, offboarding, and performance management — while ensuring we stay compliant with employment laws and regulations. You'll be a key connector across the organization, working closely with senior leadership, HR Generalists, Payroll and Benefits, and Center Managers to keep HR operations running smoothly and in step with our organizational goals.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor the HR Generalist team through regular one-on-ones, guidance, and support
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring tasks like orientation, documentation, and benefits setup happen on time
• Champion consistent HR policy application across all departments, and keep senior leadership updated on implementation progress
• Manage performance management processes, including evaluations and performance improvement plans (PIPs)
• Partner with Payroll and Benefits teams to ensure accurate, timely processing of new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
• Support compliance and audit efforts, identifying legal risks and helping implement mitigation strategies
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, engagement surveys, and team-building activities
• Collaborate with Center Managers on onboarding feedback, performance reviews, and rollout of HR policies

What You'll Bring

• 1–2 years of experience in HR, plus 1–2 years of management experience preferred
• Coursework or education in a related field (12+ credits preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of common software tools (Google Suite, HRIS systems, ChatGPT, ReMarkable, or similar)
• A collaborative, organized, and proactive approach to your work
• A commitment to professionalism, integrity, and clear communication
• Ability to pass required background checks (resume, references, criminal record check)

$27 to 32 an hour
