This position combines expertise in Node.js, databases, APIs, and Mirth Connect with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry to deliver high-quality integrations that enable the data flow required for the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process. Its direct impact is reflected in implementation speed and the technical quality of client go-lives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement medium- and high-complexity technical integrations between the Osigu platform and clients' EHR systems (Servinte, Hosvital, Dinámica Gerencial, Gomedys, Xenco, or others).
- Independently lead the technical integration activities for assigned projects, making sound technical decisions with minimal supervision.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues reported by clients during the implementation process with agility and strong judgment.
- Coordinate with the Senior Integration Engineer and the Technology team to resolve incidents requiring advanced technical support.
- Mentor Integration Engineers I by sharing technical knowledge and promoting Integration team best practices.
- Document configurations, integrations, and implemented solutions, contributing to the team's knowledge base.
- Leverage AI tools to automate data mapping, integration validation, and technical documentation generation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in systems integration.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry (hospitals, clinics, or healthtech companies) is required.
- Hands-on experience with Mirth Connect for healthcare integrations is mandatory.
Technical Skills
- Node.js — Advanced proficiency for integration development.
- Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server — Advanced knowledge.
- APIs: Advanced design, consumption, and integration of REST and SOAP services.
- Mirth Connect — Advanced proficiency.
- Strong experience working with JSON and XML payloads.
- Familiarity with Postman and DataGrip for testing and troubleshooting.
- Version control using Bitbucket.
- Development environments: IntelliJ IDEA or Visual Studio Code.
- Experience applying AI tools for data mapping, integration validation, and technical documentation (e.g., Claude, Gemini, or similar).
