About the Role


We are looking for an IT Service Desk Engineer to join our team and support Taager's IT operations across all branches. In this role, you will provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure a seamless technology experience for employees.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents while maintaining agreed service levels (SLAs).
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, telephones, and other IT equipment.
  • Support Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and access management.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, networking equipment, and backup systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on IT assets and ensure systems are updated and secure.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and technical documentation.
  • Support virtualization environments and business-critical infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Participate in on-call support, shift rotations, and provide remote or on-site support when required.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in IT Support or Service Desk (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Good knowledge of:
    • Windows Operating Systems
    • Active Directory
    • Networking fundamentals (Switching & Routing)
    • Microsoft Office
    • Hardware troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, SCCM, VoIP, antivirus solutions, or IT infrastructure is a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Cairo-based.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and on-call rotations when required.


Preferred Certifications


  • CCNA
  • MCSE / MCITP
  • ITIL Foundation
  • VoIP knowledge
