The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for tracking and managing the full lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring compliance, cost-efficiency, and optimal utilization. This role also provides basic IT support and helps maintain secure access through identity management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets and ensure proper tagging and tracking.
  • Oversee asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze usage data to identify cost-saving opportunities and avoid unnecessary purchases.
  • Generate reports on asset performance, cost, and compliance.
  • Provide limited IT support including basic troubleshooting and installations.
  • Support identity and access management processes to ensure secure user access.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications: ITIL, CompTIA A+, or CSAM (preferred).
Experience: Background in IT asset management with exposure to tech support.
Technical: Familiarity with asset management tools, licensing, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
