Junior Accountant 

Qualifications

BA in Accounting or similar field with 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge: 

• Principles and practices of accounting.

      • Knowledge of computer applications.

      • Effective skills in oral and written communication, both in Arabic and English (French is a plus)

      • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize.

      • Good time management skills

• Ability to analyze data for decision-making.

      • Ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

• QuickBooks system

 

Additional Information

Performance Responsibilities:

 

• Improve the accounting data and charts.
• Verify and reconcile the statements of accounts for both suppliers and customers regularly.
• Generate a sales report for MAC Belgium and MAC Beirut.
• Generates a report and manages financial status of Mac Nigeria.
• Handle payments to suppliers with Bank in Belgium.
• Monitor outstanding payments and advise Operation department with updated statements to follow up with clients.
• Budgeting and Forecasting.
• Responsible for monitoring office expenses.
• Validate Clients payment terms and collaborate with the operation department and the CEO to improve payment terms with customers and suppliers.
