Junior DevOps Engineer – Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

We are looking for a (Junior) DevOps Engineer to join a highly skilled team focused on 5G core network software solutions. 

The team is responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-based environments, as well as securing and integrating software release branches. Continuous delivery, automation, innovation, and knowledge sharing are embedded in the team’s day-to-day operations and engineering culture. 

 

Mandatory competences:  

• Experience with Ansible, Python and Bash scripting 

• Experience with Kubernetes 

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins) 

• Practical experience and knowledge in working with Linux OS 

• Experience in investigation and debugging of faults 

• Good knowledge in GIT and Gerrit 

• Knowledge of agile process and practices  

• Very good communication in English 

  

Nice to have competences: 

• Basic Java programming – functional tests 

• Experience with Golang 

 

With us you will: 

You will join the XFT Team, responsible for two tools used across 4G and 5G nodes. The team has end-to-end ownership of these solutions, with the autonomy to identify, analyze, and resolve issues independently. You will work in a dedicated CI/CD environment that supports efficient testing and continuous improvement. The solutions are developed mainly in Golang and Ansible, while tests are written in Python. The team works in a regular three-week release cycle.
