You’llreport to the Engineering Manager,Newfoundland(10+ years in subsea systemsengineering).
WhatYou’llWork On
- Design of mixed-signal PCBs and embedded electrical systems for subsea robotics and sensing platforms
- Design ofwiring harnesses and cable assemblies for electrical systems, considering factors such as signal integrity, thermal management, and EMC/EMI compliance
- Contribute to architectingelectrical systems spanning power, signal integrity, and embedded control
- Assistin developingand validatingdesigns for extreme environments (pressure, temperature, EMI)
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, firmware, and systems engineers to deliver fully integrated products
- Guide products from prototype→production→field deployment
- Mentorco-op students
- Apply required codes and standards to design criteria

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineeringor a related field.
- Basic understanding ofPCB design and mixedanalog/digitalsystems
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with subsea, marine, ormicroelectronics industries
- Familiarity with tools like Altium, Zuken E3, or LabVIEW
- Experience with sensor/telemetry systems
- Experience with power electronics and/or embedded systems
- Experiencetroubleshooting issues like noise,distortion,cross-talk,grounding, EMI/EMC
- Experience using lab testing equipment such as digitalmultimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrumanalyzers
