Junior Tendering Engineer

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a resourceful Junior Tendering Engineer to join a top-qualified and knowledgeable Tendering Team in our Athens Office. 

• Participates and supports the analysis of tender specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Prepares the Bills of Quantities and other quantitative reports as required. · Identifies potential risks and uncertainties in cost estimates
• Assists in the preparation of material and subcontract enquiries and the evaluation of quotations
• Develop detailed direct cost estimates for specific parts of the scope
• Assists in the compilation of the technical submittals
• Maintains comprehensive records of cost estimation data, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for future reference.
• Prepares presentations for internal (within company) and external (partners /clients) purposes
• Assists in preparation of interfacing plans, DORs, BOQ splits, and other documents related to JVs and Consortia

Qualifications

• BSc / MSc in Civil Engineering
• One (1) to three (3) years of work experience within a construction contractor
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
• Commercial / business thinking
• Excellent English command (written and oral) of the English language
• Knowledge of any project management tool is desirable.
• Computer literacy, including use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
