About this role
Hospitality2day are looking for Kitchen Porters & Kitchen Assistants to work with a number of our clients on a temporary basis across the City. You will be working with clients from B&I sites, events, and hospitality catering.
Typically as a Kitchen Porter/Assistant, you will work over a 5 days (Monday-Friday) period, from 7am to 3.30pm with the potential to go permanent.
Duties as a Kitchen Porter/Assistant:
- Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible including disposing of waste safely.
- Ensuring sure all kitchen equipment is cleaned to a high standard.
- Assisting with food and equipment deliveries.
- Assisting with basic food preparation.
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
Must Have:
- 1 years' experience (minimum) as a Kitchen Porter/Assistant preferably within high volume restaurants or contract catering environment.
- Health & Food Safety training.
- Experience working in teams & ability to communicate effectively.
Hospitality2day are a central London based staffing agency and work with a huge variety of clients in and around London.
