Lab Technician-Heavy Metal

Inter Testing & Consulting Services is the first IKEA owned Test Lab outside of Sweden. We provide top competence, a test capacity necessary and technical training to achieve our high goals for quality, healthy and safe products to our customers.

About the assignment:
• Performing daily chemical testing according to test instructions and related quality requirements.
• Perform heavy metal testing, including sample check, digestion and equipment analysis.
• Learn and be familiar with the requirement of regulations and IKEA specifications.
• Proficient in using LIMS system and completing the test result input.
• Responsible for the operation and daily maintenance of inorganic chemical instruments including ICP-OES, DMA-80, Microwave digestion system, etc.
• Assist in developing new testing methods.
• Complete other tasks assigned by line manager.

Qualifications

• College degree or above with major in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Environment/Materials/ Biology/ Pharmacy.
• With relevant chemical testing & analysis especially ICP will be preferred.
• A quick learner and willing to learn new technology.
• Positive thinking, detail-oriented, responsible and teamwork spirit.
• Self-motivator, customer focus, good communication skill.
• Good English capability both in reading and writing.
