Position SummaryWe are seeking aMedical Laboratory Technician (MLT) orMedical Technologist (MT/MLS) to join our in-house laboratory team. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic testing, ensuring accuracy of results, and supporting providers with timely clinical data to guide patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and moderate complexity laboratory testing
- Analyze and report accurate test results in a timely manner
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Perform quality control and ensure compliance with CLIA standards
- Collect and process specimens (blood, urine, etc.) as needed
- Maintain proper documentation and lab records
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff on test results
- Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Certification preferred:MLT (ASCP),MT (ASCP), orMLS (ASCP)
- Minimum1 year of lab experience preferred (new grads considered)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
