Mō te tūranga | About the Role

Our community is looking for an efficient Laundry Assistant, with an eye for detail, to work at least 50 hours per fortnight across Monday - Sunday. You will have a set roster of 7 shifts per fortnight with every second weekend off.  You will contribute to the quality of life of our residents by providing an excellent standard of laundry services for our community - including facility and resident laundry requirements.

Our Laundry Assistants are part of a wider team including housekeepers, kitchen, maintenance, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

To tatou kaitono pai | Our ideal candidate must have

• Experience in a commercial laundry or similar setting
• High standard of diligence and care
• Great interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team where we respect residents and each other
• Honesty and integrity
• High energy, physical fitness, and enthusiasm
• Ability to work rostered shits including weekends and nights
