Job Title: Lead - Finance & Accounting
Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with US GAAP principles.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounting and finance operations
- Minimum 2 years of experience in handling a team.
- Experience handling US customers/US-based teams with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in General Ledger, Journal Entries, Reconciliations, Financial Statements, Accounts Receivable, and FLUX Analysis
- Working knowledge of TDS, GST, vendor invoice processing, and statutory compliance
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite preferred; knowledge of Oracle/ERP systems is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment aligned partly with US time zones
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure financial transactions comply with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, budgets, and forecasts
- Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger accounts, and reconciliations
- Review vendor invoices and ensure proper accounting of TDS/GST in Oracle
- Assist in audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
- Develop and monitor financial controls, policies, and accounting processes
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work accurately with large datasets and meet deadlines
