You will lead Kpler’s Graphic Design practice, setting the creative direction and raising the standard of visual communication across campaigns, reports, events, and digital channels. Working closely with Marketing and Data Visualisation, you will shape how we tell stories through design and will ensure every asset is clear, consistent, and impactful. You will manage and mentor the graphic and motion designers in your team, foster cross-functional collaboration, and drive innovation in formats and systems that scale with Kpler’s growth.

Your mission is to:

  • Lead and evolve the creative direction for Kpler’s Graphic Design team, setting high standards for quality and consistency across campaigns, reports, marketing assets, and event collateral
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Communications stakeholders to translate business goals into effective, high-impact visual design across campaigns and content
  • Stay ahead of the curve on AI and automation, putting the tools, workflows, and guardrails in place alongside Marketing, so the wider business can move faster while keeping the bar high
  • Champion and scale our growing motion design capability, building on momentum to shift Kpler's visual communications from static to dynamic
  • Partner with Data Visualisation and Product Design teams to align storytelling across products, insights, and communications
  • Mentor, support, and grow designers, fostering a collaborative and development-focused environment
  • Drive innovation in new formats, including motion, video, and interactive design, to expand how Kpler communicates and engages its audience: how we tell stories
  • You could be a fit if you have/are:

  • 10+ years of experience in graphic design, with at least 3 years in a leading/management role and a track record of elevating team performance
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, craft, and impact across campaigns, reports, and digital channels
  • Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end, balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present a compelling design narrative, and organise and structure information clearly and concisely
  • At your core, you’re a designer who loves the fundamentals of the craft, from brand identity to the details of type and layout, and that grounding shapes your leadership
  • The drive to master the tools you use (we use primarily Adobe suite and Figma)
  • A strong appetite to experiment with AI tools, and iterate on new ways of working in today’s fast-moving tech environment
  • Nice to have
