Project Details

• Collaborate closely with the Head of Engineering based in Kuala Lumpur.

• Take ownership of designing and implementing the entire QA automation architecture and process flow from scratch.

• Your decisions will directly influence how the QA team ships, scales, and innovates.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement QA automation practices, including tools, frameworks, architecture, automation, integrations, and processes.

• Analyse business objectives, prepare actionable plans, and identify areas for improvement.

• Coach and mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance on test design, automation scripting, and troubleshooting.

• Drive innovation in testing processes by introducing new tools or methods to improve test effectiveness and reduce cycle time.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven experience in a lead QA automation role.

• Hands-on expertise with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.

• Experience testing APIs, micro-services, and front-end applications.

• Exposure to cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).

• Demonstrated experience in setting up a QA automation framework from the ground up.

Nice to Have / Bonus

• Experience developing automated scripts for fintech products.

• Prior experience as a software engineer.

Team & Culture

Location

Level / Grade

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
