We’re expanding our leadership team at ourNorth Richland Hills Clinicand seeking an experiencedLead Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)to guide and mentor our therapists, support clinical operations, and ensure high-quality patient care.


Position Overview


As theLead Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll balance direct patient care with leadership responsibilities. You’ll foster professional growth within your team, maintain exceptional standards of care, and collaborate with senior leadership to shape clinical policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Documentation

  • Conduct comprehensive therapy sessions and evaluations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
  • Provide education and ongoing communication to parents and families.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentor and support clinic therapists to ensure excellence in patient care and documentation.
  • Lead regular team meetings and one-on-one check-ins.
  • Supervise Clinical Fellows and SLP students as needed.
  • Participate in therapist hiring and onboarding.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and collaborative clinic culture.

Operations & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Clinical Directors to implement and improve clinic procedures.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and ongoing professional development.
  • Address patient or clinician concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the therapist and patient experience.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Texas SLP licenseandCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of pediatric experiencepreferred.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and documentation abilities.
  • Deep commitment to ethical, high-quality, family-centered care.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
