Learnlife is seeking a Learning Guide Assistant to support the Primary Years Program in Castelldefels.

The start date is 18th August 2026.

The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 4:45pm.

Learnlife’s mission is to create a paradigm shift in learning worldwide. We are creating a new learning model that empowers happy, lifelong learners, and is responsive to the needs and preferences of today’s and future generations.

Role overview:

This is not a traditional school. There are no set classes, learners are grouped in multi-age programme groups, and there is no purchased curriculum.

Our learning team co-designs learning experiences, facilitates nature- and discovery-based workshops, provides one-on-one mentoring, and collaborates with our many partners to craft a purpose-inspired, experiential and community-engaged learning experience for all our learners.

In this role you will support the learning guides in a smooth day-to-day experience with learners. We have 70 kids in the primary program.

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, communicates well, understands the importance of strong personal relationships, and who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative and agile environment.

In your role, you will:

  • Assist learners through daily learning experiences, as overseen by the Learning Guides, to track their growth, needs, and individualized planning.
  • Work collaboratively with the learning team to assist in learning experiences in particular areas for all three programme groups: Adventurers (ages 6-8), Discoverers (ages 8-10), and Pioneers (ages 10-12).
  • In collaboration with other educators, facilitate Spanish and Catalan workshops for learners.
  • Maintain a healthy culture and climate for learners, promoting confidence, agency, and self-management skills as they become self-directed learners.
  • Recognize when these areas are lacking and provide the support needed, in partnership with the rest of the learning team and the family.
  • Oversee supervision and play opportunities for learners during free play, snack, and lunch.
  • Set an example to learners of our community (Eco Hub) and company (Learnlife) values.

You bring:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working with 6-12 year olds, with a focus on Early Primary.
  • C2 level of English
  • Fluent level of Spanish and Catalan required
  • You already reside in the Barcelona area
  • Ability to quickly connect and build trust with children
  • Ability to work collaboratively and creatively in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Willingness to learn from failure, ask for help when needed, embracing an iterative process

If you are up for your next challenge, please apply with Your CV, including a minimum of three references.

At Learnlife, our culture of creativity and innovation is predicated on a diverse mix of minds, backgrounds and experiences. We are committed to creating an inclusive community where difference is valued. Everyone is unique and celebrated at Learnlife.
