Linux Admin

Job Requirements:

·3-5+ years experience as a Linux system administrator

·Strong communication and documentation skills

·Scripting experience (python/bash/perl)

·Strong troubleshooting skills

·Comfortable with command line

·Comfortable reading logs (for example: SPLUNK or ELK)

·use of monitoring tools (ie, Icinga, Nagios)

·Strong understanding of how to create/follow a method of procedure to troubleshoot/maintain and configure systems

·comfortable working in a variety of different technology environments: web, TV and mobile; front and back-end design utilizing proprietary and open source platforms, as well as back-end administrative systems

·A nearly overpowering desire to automate balanced with a necessary amount of pragmatism

·An open mind as to how automation may be accomplished

·Video application experience is helpful but not required (i.e. Conditional Access, VOD etc)
