ManufacturingSupport team memberEssential Job Functions:

In this role,you willbe a part of a dynamic team in all aspects of manufacturing high-quality components in a fast-paced environment. As a team member,you willbe a part of daily production activities assigned by your teamlead. Through the practice ofutilizinga daily management system, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback towards process improvements and lean initiatives.

  • Manufacture complex gun componentsutilizing2x Latheswith live tooling andspecial processequipment
  • Ensure the processoperatesin accordance withdefinedstandards
  • Followset production schedule, and report any problems to the Team Lead
  • In-process inspectionutilizingMics, Calipers, Indicators,Mahr systems, Air Gauges
  • Maintain quality system by followingISO standard practices
  • Tool Change/ Tool settingin accordance to set procedures
  • Tool wear offsetsto ensurethe highestqualityofparts
  • Deburringparts as needed, provide feedback when applicable
  • Operate multiple machines, as needed
  • Housekeeping

Other Job Functions:

  • Assistwithimprovement-related projects, questions, andsolvingproblems as needed.
  • Participate in department responses to corrective actions, and preventative actions
  • Perform routine safety, quality, and work skills training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Thisposition requiresuseof information or access to hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
  • This position requires the successful candidate to not be a prohibited person under the Gun Control Act (GCA), codified at 18 U.S.C. § 922(g).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles

Environmental and Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed on a10 acre,6 campus building;potentialneedto move between buildings. Musthave physical ability to walk betweenbuildingsas necessary.
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to typical machinery and equipment.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
  • Requires the ability tooccasionallyliftupto75lbs
  • Standing for extended periods and moving around the production floorfrequently.
  • CMMC 2.0 Compliant
