About this role
Job Description:
- Leading the Maintenance & Reliability function including Mechanical, E&I and Warehousing
- Implement and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance programs
- Ensure all works carried out by Maintenance team conform to the required Safety standards and Procedures, eg PTW compliance, Risk assessment, MOC compliance, etc.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement sustainable corrective actions
- Own and manage key reliability KPIs (not limiting), including:
- MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
- MTTR (Mean Time to Repair)
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- Unplanned downtime reduction metrics
- Analyze maintenance and equipment data to identify performance trends, chronic failure modes, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and publish monthly Maintenance & Reliability performance reports, highlighting key insights, KPI results, downtime drivers, and recommended improvement actions.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to Plant stakeholders to enhance equipment reliability, optimize maintenance strategies, and reduce overall cost of ownership.
- Strengthen work order processes, planning, and scheduling effectiveness to ensure high-quality execution, proper prioritization, and efficient resource utilization.
- Ensure that appropriate maintenance strategies and industry best practices (CM, PM Optimization, precision maintenance standards) are applied to all maintenance and modification activities to achieve the highest levels of equipment reliability, availability, and performance.
- Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and 5S, to enhance maintenance productivity, reduce waste, and improve asset performance.
- Collaborate with Technical and Production for equipment upgrades and CAPEX projects., and other improvement initiatives
- Work closely with other functional department, eg Production, Technology, Procurement, Finance, etc.
- Assessment and review of in-house contractors’ performance and the contract
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of experience in maintenance or reliability roles in manufacturing or chemical industries including 3 years of leadership experience in managing multi discipline team of maintenance, E&I, Project, Reliability functions
- Experienced in managing Plant Turnaround activities
- Strong organizational, data driven and analytical
- Good communications skills, collaborative and strong stakeholders management
- Experience with CMMS/EAM systems (SAP PM, Maximo, Infor, etc.)
