JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and properly dispose of all trash found in and around the terminal building, including the parking lot area.
- Empty and clean all trash bins at designated locations throughout the airport, and transport waste for disposal in the facility’s trash compactor.
- Clean exposed beams and ceilings inside and outside the terminal building, including large fans and elevated lighting fixtures, using a safety cage on a movable lift.
- Report any fixtures, equipment, or miscellaneous items requiring repair to the Supervisor – Custodian Services.
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and according to required standards.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness in all BVIAA offices and any other designated spaces throughout the airport.
- Assist with sweeping and mopping all designated airport areas.
- Assist with cleaning restrooms and replenishing toilet supplies when inventory levels are low.
- Clean all doors, windowpanes, and glass surfaces, ensuring all glass areas remain spotless.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Senior Management.
