Purpose
Manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects across Allied’s occupied portfolio. As a Manager, Construction, you will oversee a range of tenant improvements and capital projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Construction, you will collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and tenants to lead project execution from design through to close-out. Your work will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity, enhancing the built environment, and supporting the overall performance and long-term value of the portfolio.

Qualifications
Must Have:
College Diploma or University Degree in engineering, interior design, architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2-5+ years of experience in commercial construction, architecture, engineering, or project management, ideally within a -landlord or asset owner environment.
Experience delivering tenant improvements / fit-out projects within occupied buildings.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes and regulations, permitting municipal approval processes, and contract types (e.g., CCDC2 and CCDC5B & indemnity).
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated on-site experience with the ability to identify and resolve construction issues in real time.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with tenants, consultants, and contractors.
Ability to manage vendor performance and drive accountability to timelines, budget, and quality.
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and CAD/PDF tools.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Would Be an Asset:
Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Yardi
Experience in landlord-side construction or REIT environment
LEED and/or PMP accreditation
