About this role
Performs deep functional, exploratory, and customer-focused testing for new features and production issues, ensuring system reliability, accurate functionality, and high-quality user experience across all workflows and environments
Job Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing
- Create high-quality test cases (Test Plans, traceability)
- Validate backend data using: SQL Server Management Studio
- Validate file integrations using internal tools
- Capture evidence and defects using internal tools
- Perform: Exploratory testing, Feature Testing, Regression Testing, Assist with UAT as needed and Workflow validation across distributed systems.
- Validate document outputs and compliance workflows using Azure Document Intelligence
- Reproduce and validate customer issues
- Coordinate with automation engineers to develop and review tests – In addition, has the desire to learn automation with AI tooling.
- Front line support for hot fixes and patches
- Demo new features and fixes to Compliance, Customer or Product teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience in manual testing
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and defect lifecycle
- Ability to design, write, and maintain clear and structured test cases (test plans and traceability)
- Strong knowledge of exploratory, functional, regression, and system testing techniques
- Experience validating backend data using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or similar tools
- Familiarity with testing file integrations and workflow-based systems
- Experience capturing and documenting test evidence and defects using QA tools
- Ability to validate end-to-end workflows across distributed systems
- Experience in reproducing, analyzing, and troubleshooting customer-reported issues
- Understanding of document validation and compliance workflows (e.g., Azure Document Intelligence or similar tools)
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with developers, automation engineers, and stakeholders
- Ability to support UAT activities and production hotfix validation
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with production support responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
