Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Manufacturing Production Line Engineer to join our clients team. This hands-on role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing production line machinery to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Preventative Maintenance
*   Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of production line machinery to minimize downtime.
*   Implement and monitor preventative maintenance schedules.

2. Repairs and Troubleshooting

*   Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on production lines to ensure minimal disruption.
*   Respond promptly to breakdowns and apply appropriate technical solutions.

3. Installation and Upgrades

*   Install new production lines or individual components as required.
*   Upgrade existing equipment to improve efficiency and production capacity.

4. Safety and Compliance

*   Ensure all machinery complies with health and safety standards.
*   Follow established procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

5. Collaboration and Reporting

*   Work closely with production teams to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
*   Document maintenance activities and provide regular updates to supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise:

    • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.
    • Hands-on experience with maintaining and repairing manufacturing machinery.
  • Skills and Competencies:
