About this role
As a NOC Operator, you are responsible for ensuring the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of Milence charging hubs across Europe. From our Network Operations Centre, you monitor network performance, manage incidents, and act quickly to minimise downtime and disruption for our customers.
Reporting to the Network Operations Lead, this hands‑on role is suited to someone who thrives in an international environment, takes full ownership of incidents until resolved, and continuously works to improve reliability of our charging hubs.
This role is based out of our Arnhem office 5 days per week.
What you will do
Monitor the performance, reliability, and availability of Milence charging hubs across Europe
Detect, analyse, and follow up on automatically generated incidents
Act as second‑line support, handling escalations from the 1st‑line customer support centre
You will ensure that all systems run reliably by planning and coordinating preventative maintenance
Coordinate and plan preventive maintenance to reduce incidents and avoid downtime
Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams when issues arise
Support continuous improvements by identifying opportunities for process optimisation and automation
Ensure safety, emergency, and compliance procedures are followed during incidents and maintenance
Monitor network and system performance and help identify potential security risks
Requirements
Who are we looking for
You have an educational background in a technical field or equivalent hands‑on experience
You are experienced in a technical customer operations or network operations environment, preferably across multiple sites or regions
You have strong technical aptitude and experience working with monitoring and operational tools
You have an interest or experience in EV infrastructure, physical assets, and second‑line technical support
You have the ability to analyse issues, troubleshoot effectively, and find solutions under pressure
You have strong customer focus and clear communication skills
You are fluent in English; an additional European language (German or French) is a plus
You are comfortable using digital and AI‑supported tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision‑making, while applying sound judgment and maintaining ownership of outcomes.
