On-site Freelancer for Game LQA and localization (Simplified Chinese to English)-Hangzhou, China

With over 1000 well-known global game developers and publishers as our clients, we are looking for Game Localization or LQA talents with native language skills in English & Simplified Chinese (China) to join us to provide client support in a dynamic and exciting environment.

Important information:

• This position is on a freelance contract.

• This is an on-site work in Hangzhou, China.

• Immediate availability is preferred.

Requirements

Responsibilities

1. Translate in‑game content from Simplified Chinese to English and perform LQA (Language Quality Assurance) to ensure high linguistic quality.

2. Collaborate closely with the localization team and development team – communicate translation needs, help resolve issues during the translation process, and assist in maintaining translation databases / TMs.

Requirements

1. 3-5+ years of experience in the game industry. Candidates with game localization and LQA experience, and familiarity with localization workflows, are strongly preferred.

2. Excellent proficiency in Chinese (Simplified) and English. Knowledge of Japanese, Korean, or other languages is a plus. Must be familiar with overseas cultures and trending topics.

3. Meticulous and detail‑oriented – sensitive to minor issues in translation and testing.

4. Rich experience playing multilingual games and strong understanding of multilingual content design in games.

5. Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
