Operations Excellence Specialist (They/She/He)

YOUR MISSION

We are looking for a professional ready to make an impact in a fast paced environment where quick execution and out of the box solutions truly make the difference. The Operations Manager is a pivotal role at the core of Glovo’s operations, responsible for managing, streamlining and reviewing the main operational processes at the base of Glovo logistic infrastructure with the final aim of offering the best service on the market.

 

THE JOURNEY

• Daily management of the main processes at the base of Glovo operations proactively working for improvement and optimization.

• Develop processes and long-term projects to improve the efficiency of the operational setup, reporting directly to the Operations Manager and the country leadership team.

• Identify industry trends and act proactively to outperform competitors, with a focus on rider experience.

• Collaborate with the Operations team to guarantee the best possible user experience and position Glovo as the favorite delivery app for both riders and customers in Bulgaria.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• University degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields (a plus).

• Previous experience in a fast paced and demanding environment (e.g. consulting, tech industry).

• Experience in the delivery or on-demand industry is considered a plus.

• Proficiency with Google Suite (or Microsoft Office).

• Based in Sofia or willing to relocate.

• Fluency in Bulgarian and English.

• Strong analytical skills with a results oriented, autonomous, and efficient mindset.

• Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.

• Capacity to approach situations from different perspectives and propose creative solutions

• Persuasive communicator, with attention to detail and evidence based reasoning.

• Collaborative and adaptable, with a strong commitment to getting the job done.
