- Greets guest at the table promptly after their arrival and informs them of specials and promotional menu, makes suggestions and answers questions regarding food, beverages and service.
- Takes food and beverage orders from guests written and relays the order to kitchen staff and bartender as appropriate.
- Processes guests' orders in a timely manner whilst verifying that all items are prepared according to guests' requests and standards, offering a friendly and caring service at all time.
- Keeps a discreet eye on the guests to ensure they are satisfied with the food and service, anticipates and responds to any additional requests and to determine when the course/meal has been completed.
- Presents the check to the guests according to the outlet standards. Upon acceptance of payment, refers checks and payment to the cashier for closing. Returns the copy of the closed check, credit card slip or change to the guests, as appropriate.
- Sets up tables for each course according to the outlet standards. During the meal, after each course, removes dirty dishes and silverware from table and changes ashtray (1 butt only) upon needs. After the meal, cleans and resets the table.
- During lower occupancy of the outlet, assists with stocking the work stations, polishing silverware from table and folding napkins.
- Keeps abreast of the food and beverage promotions, new menu items, daily specials, and other relevant information for the outlet guests.
- To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items in the menu and the ability to recommend Food & Beverage products and up sell alternatives
- To perform opening and closing procedures established for the respective outlet as assigned
- To report guest complaints or problems to outlet supervisor / Assistant Manager and Manager if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests
- To assist in carrying out daily, weekly, monthly and yearly inventory of operating equipment.

- To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned to meet hotel business demands and guest service needs.
- To attend daily briefing as a team member, other meetings and trainings whenever is required
- To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department grooming standards.
