Part-Time Middle School English Teacher

An independent school for girls in grades 6-12, guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church, Montrose School was founded in 1979 and is located in the welcoming community of Medfield, 17 miles southwest of Boston. Montrose School seeks a part-time English Teacher for our Middle School. Responsibilities include teaching 2 sections, mentoring a prorated caseload of students, engaging in the co-curricular life of the school, and proactively communicating with students and parents to support academic growth aligned with the Montrose mission.

The salary range for this position is $26,869 - $56,469.

Strong candidates will have: a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area (MA preferred), education coursework a plus, excellent communication skills, sound judgment and discretion, professionalism in timeliness and grading turnaround, and a commitment to adolescent development and educational best practices.
