About the Role
This is a 4 month fixed term contract. The Payroll Advisor is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of payroll services for Ocado Sweden. Operating in a system-driven environment, you will have hands-on ownership of the Swedish payroll cycle - working closely with People teams, Finance, and our external payroll vendor to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time while adhering to all statutory, tax, and social security requirements.
About You
Payroll Expertise: Demonstrable experience in payroll operations with a strong understanding of Swedish payroll legislation, processes, controls, and statutory requirements (such as Skatteverket reporting and social security contributions).
System & Vendor Familiarity: Experience working with HRIS platforms or payroll systems (such as Workday, ADP, or CloudPay), ideally with exposure to vendor-managed payroll models.
Detail-Oriented & Organised: Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet strict deadlines in an SLA-driven environment.
Strong Communicator & Collaborator: Excellent communication skills in English (our global working language) with a proactive, customer-service-oriented approach to resolving queries and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Problem Solver: A resilient, flexible team player who is calm under pressure and focuses on finding solutions and driving continuous process improvements.
