Your Role:

As a Payroll Manager,you'llown the full payroll function,ensuring every employee is paid accurately and on time, every cycle.You'llkeepCardamomcompliant across federal, state, and local regulations, and partner closely with Finance and HR to support a seamless employee experience. From day-to-day processing to year-end reporting and system improvements,you'llbe the go-to expert who keeps our payroll running smoothly.

As a Payroll Manager at Cardamom, you will:

• Manage and process end-to-endpayrollfor all employees (salaried, hourly, and contract) on asemi-monthlycycle

• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and garnishment requirements

• Maintain and audit payroll records, ensuring accuracy of employee data including hours, deductions, and benefits

• Oversee year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and filing, tax reconciliation, and reporting

• Collaborate with HR on benefits administrationand compensation changes

• Manage payroll systemchanges,upgrades, and integrations withERPandotherplatforms

• Respond to employee inquiriesregardingpay, deductions, and payroll policies ina timelyand professional manner\

Our ideal Payroll Manager will have:

• 5+ years of payroll experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field

• Proficiencywith payroll software

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws

• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Bonus points for experience with the following:

• Experience with multi-state payroll

• Advanced Excelanddata analysis skills

• Experience with Rippling HRIS

• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation
