Key Responsibilities

Design and lead the school's training and development strategy

Build structured onboarding programmes for all four employee populations (local teachers, expat teachers, teaching/class assistants, admin)

Develop leadership capability among pedagogical and administrative leaders

Create and manage the performance management cycle

Lead strategic recruitment for local teachers, expat teachers, and leadership roles

Supervise and develop the Business Partner and People Analyst

Design career pathways and succession planning frameworks

Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives

Partner with the HR Director on workforce planning and organisational design

Report People & Development and recruitment KPIs to the HR Director

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organisational Development, or related field; postgraduate preferred

8+ years of experience in T&D, organisational development, or HR business partnering

Proven experience designing and delivering training programmes

Experience in recruitment, ideally in education or international environments

Experience managing at least two direct reports

Fluent in Portuguese and English

Knowledge of competency frameworks and performance management systems
