This PT-owned orthopedic outpatient office in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time role with flexible scheduling and a patient volume of 2 patients per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
  • Help patients complete strengthening, mobility, balance, and gait activities
  • Support functional training for daily movement and return-to-activity goals
  • Observe patient response and communicate updates to the PT
  • Reinforce safe exercise technique and home program instructions
  • Document treatment sessions accurately
  • Prepare treatment areas and equipment
  • Help create a positive patient experience during each visit

Requirements

  • Florida PTA License required
  • PTA Degree required
  • Outpatient experience preferred
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Comfortable working with orthopedic patients
  • Organized and professional work style
